Suzanne is a yoga instructor who has spent over twenty years practicing meditation, gentle yoga, restorative yoga, kundalini yoga, and more recently Amrit yoga. She is formally trained as a 200-hour Amrit Yoga instructor in 2021 and is certified by the Yoga Alliance. She also received a teaching certification in Amrit Yoga Nidra from the Amrit Yoga Institute in 2020 under the guidance of Kamini Desai and John Vosler. Her first exposure to yoga was in June 1999 at the Kripalu Center in Lenox, MA where she first fell in love with yoga. Her yoga journey continues to be one that deepens, laying an ever-widening foundation for peace and fulfillment however life presents itself.

With four decades of successful experience in twelve step programs, Suzanne offers yoga classes to addiction recovery centers in the eastern Vermont, Eastern New Hampshire and select MA areas. These classes are designed to help those in recovery reduce the impact of everyday stress to improve the chances for successful recovery. Yoga postures, breathing exercises, and strategies are presented to help recovering individuals calm busy minds and stay present in the moment. Suzanne believes that yoga may begin with developing healthier bodies through asana or exercise-based practices, but if your yoga practice grows to its fullest expression, it also includes pranayama or breathwork and various types of meditation. All yoga provided in the I-AM Amrit method incorporates breathwork and meditation. If you are new to yoga, and would like to start at the beginning with simple stretching and learning to take a full deep breath to relax, we can definitely start there. If you’ve been practicing for awhile and would like to deepen your practice through other modalities that is available to you. With individual yoga sessions, you will be met where you are and taken only where you want to go. If you want a very gentle practice to reduce stress and rebalance the nervous system or if you have physical issues such as cranky joints that call you move slowly and gently, we can do that. If you’d like a yoga nidra session tailored to an issue you are experiencing or some positive change you’d like to envision for yourself, we can make that happen. If you’d like to experience a more rigorous practice with the traditional or modified Amrit Yoga sequence, that is also available one-on-one. Life coaching and restful yoga nidra segment can be added to any asana yoga practice during longer one-on-one sessions.

All one-on-one yoga nidra, yoga posture, or yoga meditation sessions will be offered over Zoom (unless otherwise agreed upon). Typical sessions last one hour. Each sessions opens with a brief check in so please be on time ready to work together. If canceling or rescheduling, please allow 24 hours notice except emergencies.

Fee Schedule for Individual Yoga Sessions (Available via Zoom or by Phone). My greatest concern is that you get the help and support you need regardless of your financial status. I want everyone to benefit from these beautiful practices. We can have a conversation about this together if finances are an obstacle.

60-minute Personalized Yoga Nidra on Zoom or by Phone (includes check-in & intention setting, yoga nidra, and follow-up): $65 The length of the yoga nidra for an hour session is determined by the time needed for check in and intentions. Or see below…
